NO DOGS | NO RESERVATIONS | BYOeverything We will serve six different varieties of homemade brick oven style pizzas topped with delicious locally sourced ingredients (when available). Pleasant Grove sits on 55 acres of prairie grassland, surrounded by beautiful oak trees and wildlife. We invite you to bring all of your picnic-style dining necessities to include seating, utensils, beverages, and your choice of dining surface while you take in the alluring views during dinner. We also encourage you to stroll along the nature trails through our natural prairie and oak-filled woods.

I'm still reeling from an incredible weekend full of love, celebration, tears of happiness, warm embraces & dreams of the future, all set in the most beautiful backdrop of Fall.

First, a bridal shower for our niece, set in the Garden Bar. Simple & beautiful, allowing nature to create the venue. Surrounded by tall prairie grasses, stately oaks, maples & cottonwoods. With leaves turning shades of amber, copper & gold. The afternoon sunlight shining through the branches casting a golden glow over a celebration that felt every bit as beautiful as the season itself.✨

Next, the most unadorned & intimate wedding ceremony nestled in the prairie for one of our team members turned dear friend. No elaborate decorations, no grand production. Simply two people, surrounded by those they love with the prairie grass dancing around them, all celebrating in the joy of their promises. Much like their love, there was nothing forced or complicated within these moments. A reminder that sometimes the most meaningful moments need nothing more than the right people and the right place🌾

As I reflect back on this beautiful day, I keep coming back to what we all seem to embrace the most in life: the people we love, the connections we share & the moments that become lasting memories. Exactly what Pleasant Grove was created to nurture while enjoying nature 💛

FB was prompting me to post a photo of a 'staff favorite' pizza: easily it would be our Blueberry Dessert!

It happily reminded me of all of the times this summer I heard someone excitedly say as they stood in front of the menu deciding which pizzas to order, 'We for sure have to get the Blueberry Dessert Pizza, it’s so good!'

Hearing that always made my heart smile. Honestly, it never gets old listening to folks talk about how much they love it. It’s a wonderful reminder that we’ve created something truly unforgettable, something people can't wait to share with their friends & family!

This isn't your average dessert pizza, it’s a gourmet flavor explosion:
• The Base: A rich, velvety cheesecake layer with that perfect signature tang. 🍰
• The Brightness: Plump, fresh blueberries that pop with juicy sweetness, enhanced by a splash of fresh lemon juice. 🍋
• The Secret Twist: Drizzled with basil-infused olive oil and topped with fresh basil for a clean, aromatic finish. 🌿

I say it every year & I may say it about every event we host here on the farm, but, deep in my heart & soul, this is easily my favorite….

There is something special & beautiful about worship on the farm in autumn. The prairie turns golden, the leaves deepen into coppers, ambers & reds. Some leaves seem to burn a neon orange and yellow, all while the light softens across it. Those colors have a way of stirring something in me, a little inspiration, a little wonder, a reason to pause, take it in & be a little more grateful.

The crisp air wakes you up. You breathe a little deeper, feel a little more alive & become more aware of the world around you + the people beside you.

Maybe that’s why fall & worship feel so natural together. This season invites reflection. It reminds us that things change, that there is beauty in letting go & that we have much to be grateful for. You don’t have to have all the answers to feel connected to something bigger than yourself. I don't know about you, but that feeling of wonder is inspiring, exhilarating and calming.

The heart of this place has always been a simple hope: that people would gather. To share food, conversation, music & moments that become memories. Making space for a worship service feels like a natural extension of that hope.

And getting to stand together, surrounded by the beauty of this season, with room to reflect, sing or simply listen… well, that stays with me.

However you arrive & wherever you are in your faith, we have made space for you here 🤎

For the second year in a row, we were asked to host the local Greater Mankato Area United Way. And for the second year, I’m in awe.

In awe of the passion and dedication of the women I worked with.
In awe of the inspiration they exuded.
In awe of how easily it all seemed to flow...the planning, the setup, the event & all of the little moments in between.

But most of all, I’m in awe of what happens when people come together because they care so deeply about their community. Laughter + conversation filled the barn and the support shown was as moving as it was incredible. The generosity of the evening stayed with me long after the evening ended.💛

Thank you to Greater Mankato Area United Way for the invitation to host again, we were more than honored.

Most importantly, thank you for everything you do for our community. 🌈

The colors outside are beautiful, the decorations are adorable, I get to wear my fall sweaters, drink hot apple c***r and I'm about to start making my Special Edition Tater Tot Hot dish with Stove top stuffing for my team...ask for a bite after you've ordered 🤭

This weekend kicks off our four weeks of
Flavors of Fall!

The weekly feature is a staff favorite with a base of our homemade Carolina Gold BbQ sauce, sauerkraut, brats braised in b**r then pan fried, because who doesn't love that crisp! Covered with sharp cheddar cheese that gives it a little more depth, which helps balance the sauce and topped with pickled red onions once it's cooked in the wood fired oven.

On tap we have a Schells & Badger Hill Brewing Oktoberfest, a caramel apple c***r, Mineral Springs Brewery Marzen and Elysian Brewing's Punkuccino Coffee Pumpkin Ale, which contains caffeine because it is brewed with a shot of Stumptown cold brew coffee toddy concentrate🍻

*Featured drink is Mulled W**e 🍷
*Dirty Sodas include Root B**r Dream, Pumpkin Spice
& Maple Cream (dirty sodas are NA)🧋

One sauce, endless iterations.

Our favorite that we like to share is Bill's Pistachio Pesto & this weekend we're keeping it deliciously easy and putting it on pizza fries...presto, pesto pizza fries!

My second favorite way to eat pesto is as a pasta toss with bowtie noodles, kalamata olives, fresh garden cherry tomatoes + topped with a sprinkle of fresh grated Parmesan cheese!

*fun fact that I learned this morning while reading more about basil is that it can be froze! Which is great because we have so much beautiful basil that still needs to be harvested. I will blanch it and at a later time use it to make more pesto as well as use it with my frozen tomatoes to make tomato basil soup🍅

➡️We are open today 4-8p. with take out & delivery to the brewery. Tomorrow, Sunday the 20th we are open 1-6p. with live music by Chris Bertrand from 4-6p.
