Banoffee

Our most sought out cream pie special is back this week: Banoffee ✨You may have had this pie during your travels in the UK, or for the first (or second, or fifth) time with us! The banoffee pie was created in 1971 by Nigel Mackenzie, the owner of The Hungry Monk Restaurant in Jevington, East Sussex, and his chef, Ian Dowding. The original recipe was based on an American dessert recipe called “Blum’s Coffee Toffee Pie” from the Blum’s Bakery in San Francisco.

Our sweet special this week is Apple Pear Pie 🍏🍐

A variety of local apples and bosch pears lightly sugared and spiced to create a special late summer early fall treat.

Bad Bunny Pie (Last call!)

Inspired by the comforting flavors of Puerto Rican Asopao, this pie is filled with a rich rice stew layered with onions, carrots, celery, peppers, garlic, ginger, yuca, cilantro, turmeric, coriander, chili sauce, lemon, and a touch of za’atar. The result is warm, aromatic, and deeply savory.

Finished with our slow-simmered spiced pork.
