Did you know Christopher Columbus was Italian? Born Cristoforo Colombo in Genoa, Italy, Columbus became one of history’s most well-known explorers — and his legacy is one reason Columbus Day has long held significance within Italian-American communities.

Today, we celebrate the heritage, perseverance, and traditions that so many have brought from Italy to America 🇮🇹🇺🇸

For 55 years, our family has been proud to share our Italian roots, culture, recipes, and love of great food with our community. From the very beginning, Altomonte’s has been about family and Italian food — and that’s a tradition we’re proud to carry forward.
