A bunch of us got together and made this video for Kira's 17th birthday in 2024. It was our first without her physically on this earth to celebrate.
Last year, for her 18th, we did a collective Playlist on Apple Music & Spotify, but this year I didn't have it in me to organize a big thing. We've been working so hard on getting K² Coffee Company up and running so I think that can serve as our big thing this year. I just wanted to share this TikTok again because it still represents our love for Kira so well.

Due to a series of stupid life-size circumstances entirely within our control, we had to get up at an hour that should frankly be illegal and get dropped off at work WAY earlier than any reasonable person should be expected to function. (Don't remind me that we plan to do this daily once the coffee shop is official; let me live in this fantasy land of sleeping until 8:50 & not having to be at work until 9😆).

Enter: my sweet, prize-winning mama, absolute queen among women, making us protein lattes while I wander around looking like a Victorian child recently awakened from a 100-year curse.

And I just need everyone to know that I have never loved anyone or anything more than I love this woman and this coffee at this exact moment. 🤗🥰
