The Jalapeño Popper Pizza 🌶️

This was another limited time pizza that we absolutely did not think was going to stick around and yet here we are. It’s officially earned its spot on the menu and now we’re rearranging our kitchen to make room for another pizza makeline because y’all order the heck outta the “crazier” pizzas and we are outta room.

So this is basically me begging… order pizza tonight so we can afford the new makeline! 😅🫶🏻

The Dumpster Fire started out as a joke. And somehow this pizza became one of our top sellers and has stayed there.

Cupping pepperoni, jalapeños, crushed red pepper, hot honey, and of course some extra cheese. I genuinely never thought something this simple would get popular enough that we would have to officially put it on the menu.

I still remember introducing this pizza years ago and it kinda put us on the map. People were driving hours to come try it and at one point the highway was backed up on both sides. What was supposed to be a limited time pizza turned into a permanent menu item. We still sell the heck outta this pizza. The hibachi pizza is a weird one, but it works.

This right here has always been my vision. When I found out Wags had this planned, I couldn’t say no to helping them! I am so excited I get to be a part of this.

Hopefully we can host a microchip clinic right here soon!

We have been working HARD behind the scenes, and we are SO excited to finally introduce something we have been dreaming about for a long time! 🥹🐾

The Wags Community Care Project is a division of Wags of Hope created with one simple goal: to help families in our community afford the care their animals need. ❤️

We believe that sometimes, families don’t want to give up their pets — they just need a little help. By providing access to affordable veterinary services, our goal is to help keep animals happy, healthy, and in their homes instead of ending up on the streets or in overcrowded shelters. 🏡🐶🐱

📍 For now, the Wags Community Care Project will serve ONLY Lonoke County.

We will be starting with:

✂️ Low-cost spay & neuter services
💉 Low-cost vaccines
🆔 FREE microchips for Lonoke County residents during designated times

We will have a sign-up link posted soon where you can apply for these services and find out more information!

💙 HERE’S THE IMPORTANT PART:
The Wags Community Care Project is 100% donation-based. That means we can only help as much as the community helps us. When the funds are available, we can provide services. When funds are low, our ability to help will be limited.

But we have worked incredibly hard to make this a reality, and we are SO excited to finally get this project moving! 🙌🐾

Back to helping the dogs!

So many have asked when we will be hosting another microchip clinic, so we will work on planning one with Wags! Be sure to follow their page so you won’t miss when it’s announced.

I’ve been trying to work up the courage to introduce myself here, but honestly, the anxiety has been eating at me. But it’s gotta happen, so… here it goes.

Hi Wags Family! I’m Alicia! 🖤 You may recognize me from the dog rescue world, from Gia’s story, or you might just know me from Bernard Pizza Co. 🤪

A few months ago, I stepped away from a rescue I co-founded to focus on work and family. Now that my work life is slowing down a little, I’m excited to dip my toes back into rescue, this time on a smaller, more manageable scale. I’ve been helping rescues for over a decade, and I’ve missed it! Wags of Hope needed some help with a few things, and after learning we share the same vision, I couldn’t say no. I’m always willing to help the dogs if I can! 🐶

I’ll be helping raise funds, trying to help grow Wags’ reach on social media, and working on getting merch added online so you can get your Wags gear shipped straight to your door soo keep an eye out for that! I cannot wait to see what we can all accomplish together. 🖤

For now, we’re setting two big goals:

🎯 $300/month in recurring donations
Even $1 a month helps provide some stability for food, vet care, and unexpected expenses, especially with all of the recent emergency intakes. The link to sign up will be in the comments!

🎯 10,000 followers in one year
Share Wags posts, tag your friends, comment, and maybe do that mildly annoying thing and invite people to follow the page. 😉 More eyes on these dogs means more chances for them to find their people! How to invite friends will be in the comments!

I know these are some big goals, but man, it would be LIFE-CHANGING for this rescue. Just a little more support, a little more visibility, and hopefully a whole lot more dogs getting the help they need. 🤞🏼

Our team held down the fort tonight so we could sneak away and celebrate our niece’s 3rd birthday. 🥹

We just want to say thank you to everyone who came in tonight and for being patient with our team while we were away. We know weekends are chaotic here, and we appreciate y’all giving them grace.

And to our team… THANK YOU. 🖤 We genuinely couldn’t have done this tonight without you guys stepping up and keeping things moving while we got to be with family.
