We could talk for hours about fisheries legislation, quota distribution, and all things seafood, but when it comes to losing one of our own, finding the words becomes hard.

As a fisherman, Dewey was fierce. As a fisheries advocate, he was relentless. And as a friend, he was loyal. He was intelligent, funny, resourceful, steadfast, efficient, witty—and a great cook…a Dewey seafood feast! 🦀🦐🐟🐟🦪🦐

Our hearts are heavy, but as a community, we will do our best to carry on his legacy of friendship, advocacy, and dedication to our fisheries. We love and miss you Dewey.
