Did you know August is my birthday month? 🩷
With that also comes my dad’s birthday month. For those who don’t know, I share a birthday with my dad. While he now celebrates his birthday in Heaven, I wanted to find a meaningful way to honor him this year.
I’m excited to introduce Birthday Blessings 🧁
For our very first Birthday Blessing, I’d love to make a birthday cake “for my dad” and gift it to someone in our community who could use a little extra kindness.
I’ll be accepting private nominations for individuals you’d like to bless. Whether they’re celebrating a birthday during a difficult time, facing illness, experiencing financial hardship, or simply going through a tough season, I’d love to help make their day a little sweeter.
To honor my dad’s memory, I’ll be personally donating the very first Birthday Blessing. ❤️
From there, anyone who wishes can help keep the kindness going by contributing to the Sweet Blessing Fund. Every dollar donated will go directly toward providing a 6-inch birthday cake (serving up to 8 people) for someone who has been nominated. Once the fund reaches the amount needed for a cake, I’ll select a recipient from the nominations received and continue spreading a little sweetness throughout our community.
My hope is that this becomes more than just a one-time gift. I’d love for Birthday Blessings to continue bringing joy and celebrating people who could use a little extra love.
