❤️ AN IMPORTANT UPDATE FROM THE JUNCTION — WITH HEARTS FULL OF GRATITUDE ❤️

Due to the incredible outpouring of support, The Junction will be CLOSED tomorrow, Sunday, October 18th.

We knew our opening would be busy. We planned for it, prepared for it, and worked closely with our food distributors to make sure we were ready. But nearly DOUBLE the business we anticipated? WOWZA! You have exceeded even our wildest expectations. ❤️

We’ve spent hours trying to find a way to open tomorrow, exploring every possible option. But the reality is, we’ve sold through so much of our inventory that we simply cannot offer you the full menu and experience you deserve.

We’ve worked incredibly hard to build relationships with specialty suppliers and distributors, carefully choosing the products and ingredients that make our menu special.

And a HUGE thank you to Van Eerden Foodservice, who went above and beyond on Friday by making a special delivery all the way from Grand Rapids to help us keep up! And somehow, you wonderful people STILL wiped us out! 😂❤️

Our next delivery arrives Monday morning, and rather than substitute the products we’ve worked so hard to bring you, we’ve made the difficult decision to close for one day.

We would rather miss one day with you than give you anything less than our very best.

When we took this leap of faith, we hoped people would come. We hoped this place would once again be filled with laughter, families, old friends, and new memories.

But we never imagined so many of you would show up to help make our dream a reality.

From Walloon Lake to the surrounding communities and those who traveled even farther, you’ve given us a beginning we’ll never forget.

To everyone who planned to visit tomorrow, we’re genuinely sorry. We know your time is valuable, and we sincerely hope you’ll understand and come see us again.

We’ll be back Wednesday at noon, fully restocked and ready to welcome you!

Wednesday & Thursday: 12–10 PM
Friday & Saturday: 12–11 PM
Sunday: 12–4 PM
Monday & Tuesday: Closed

We thought we were opening a restaurant. Instead, you reminded us what it feels like to be part of something bigger than ourselves.

🎉 TODAY IS THE DAY WE’VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR! 🎉

The Junction Bar & Grill officially opens TODAY at NOON! 🍔🍕🍻

After months of hard work, long days, late nights, countless projects, and plenty of preparation, we are beyond excited to finally open our doors and welcome everyone in!

We have poured so much time, energy, and heart into getting The Junction ready, and we cannot wait to share it with our community.

❤️ A Little Favor From Us to You

As we get things up and running, we kindly ask for a little patience and understanding. We have a wonderful team that has been working incredibly hard, but we are still a brand-new operation finding our rhythm.

We know everyone is excited to come in, and trust us, we are just as excited to see you! If you think we might be especially busy, please feel free to call ahead and check on wait times before making the trip.

Our goal isn’t just to get food out the door. We want every single person who walks through our doors to feel welcomed, appreciated, and taken care of. Good food, great service, and an atmosphere where everyone feels at home are what we’re working toward.

We may have a few bumps along the way as we settle in, but we promise we’re going to give it everything we’ve got. We appreciate your patience, encouragement, and support as we begin this new chapter.

A MESSAGE FROM THE NEW OWNERS OF THE JUNCTION!

Hello, everyone!

We’ve been receiving so many phone calls, messages, and questions about when The Junction will officially reopen, and we want you to know that we see you, we hear you, and we are just as excited as you are!

Our anticipated opening is now MID-OCTOBER! 🎉

As we prepare to welcome everyone back, we’ve been busy making upgrades to our kitchen, working through permits and inspections, training our amazing team, and handling all the little (and big!) things that come with taking ownership of a new business.

We’re also patiently waiting for one of our new owners to officially hang up his UPS uniform for the last time and begin this exciting new chapter with us! ❤️

We know everyone is eager to get back through those doors, and trust us, we cannot wait to open them for you!

Our goal is to make sure that when we welcome you back, we are ready to give you the experience you deserve.

Friends and fans of the Junction Bar & Grill, Pied Piper Roller Skating Rink and Walloon Village Cottage.

As many of you may already know, the Junction is currently in a temporary seasonal shutdown. During this time, we are actively working to build a strong team for the upcoming season, including cooks, managers, bartenders, and waitstaff to support both the restaurant. The Piper will remain open during this time.

You may have also seen that the Junction Bar & Grill, Pied Piper Roller Skating Rink and Walloon Village Cottage behind the Junction are for sale. This is intentional. Our goal is to find the right individual or group who can operate the business at a high level and position it for long-term success. We believe deeply in what these spaces represent and the role they can continue to play in the Walloon community.

We love Walloon, and we love what has been created here. The Junction and the Pied Piper were built to be places where people come together—locals and visitors alike—to gather, dine, skate, sleep and connect. That vision hasn’t changed.

We are open to conversations, ideas, and opportunities—whether that’s a potential ownership, operational partnerships, or staffing. 🚧 Temporary Closure Notice 🚧

The Junction will be closed for the month of May as we take time for a deep cleaning and refresh to prepare for the summer months.

We’ll be back and ready to welcome you again in June —cleaner, better, and refreshed! Continue following us and we will post our new summer hours in the coming weeks
