đź’› HELP NEEDED Please Read & Share đź’›

Hi everyone,
I'm reaching out to ask for help on behalf of two of the hardest-working, most generous people I know, my folks, Jim & Candy.
Less than 2 weeks ago, our world turned upside down. While at work, my dad Jim, suffered a traumatic abdominal aortic aneurysm rupture after an impact. It was a grave, life-threatening emergency and one that very few survive.

He endured two ruptures, emergency surgery, days on a ventilator, and an uncertain prognosis. Thanks to an incredible medical team and sheer determination, he survived. In fact, true to form, he asked when he could go back to work the day after coming off the ventilator. That’s just who he is.

Now, Jim is home recovering, but he has a long road ahead. He can’t work, and my mom Candy is now his full-time caregiver. With no income coming in, they’re facing mounting medical costs and everyday bills, and as proud as they are, they would never ask for help themselves. In fact, my sister was the first to share this, and they have just messaged saying they don't want a GoFundMe. If strength and stubbornness paid the bills, they would be doing great.

So I’m asking for them.

We’ve started a GoFundMe to help ease the financial burden while they focus on healing. Even $5 helps, and if you can’t donate, please consider sharing the link. The more eyes on this, the more support we can gather.

They’ve spent their lives showing up for others—offering rides, meals, help with home projects, shoveling snow, painting houses—you name it. Now it’s our turn to show up for them.

If you are looking for more info, you can access regular updates through the GoFundMe link.

Thank you for reading. Thank you for caring. And please keep them in your prayers. Please share this post!

*Update: Thank you to everyone that helped us track down the rug. It has been returned to us.*

Anyone recognize this lady?

On Tuesday October 1st I had taken my large area rug from my living room over to the laundromat in Wallace on Cedar St to wash it and walked next-door, upon returning it had been stolen.

I did see this lady out back behind the laundromat in the parking area and asked her if she had seen my rug or anyone come in and take it and she told me no.

The rug was sopping wet, so it hadn’t been in the dryer yet meaning hauled it out wet and lied to me when I asked about it. The laundromat owner says I missed her taking it out according to the camera footage by 4 minutes.

If she herself sees this post, please bring my run back.

If anyone knows who this is, please reach out to us.

Thank you!

Happy Father’s Day! 💕We love you! 🥰

Mark Plummer was born on October 1st, 1952 in Wallace, Idaho. He was the life of the party from the very beginning, with a sense of humor that could light up any room. Despite not having a middle name, he was known far and wide for his infectious personality and quick wit.

Mark lived his life to the fullest, never taking himself too seriously and always finding humor in even the most difficult situations. His jester-like demeanor made him a beloved friend and family member to many, and his legacy will undoubtedly live on in the countless lives he touched.

Mark was a character who lived life on his terms. He was a contract painter by trade, and he loved working with his hands. He had many talents, including playing the guitar and piano, and he loved to make music.

He was survived by, Tina his loving wife and companion until the end. We are grateful for the joy and happiness Tina brought into his life. He is also survived by his 6 children: Justin Wilson (Alexa), Adrien Plummer Maatoug (Ali), Adam Plummer, Lindsey Wilson (Lee), Bronson Plummer, and his youngest son, Stetson Plummer (Cadie). He was the proud grandfather to 5 grandchildren, Sekaya, Brendyn, Jordan, Adlee, and Satori along with several nieces, and nephews; all whom he loved deeply. He never met a baby or little one he didn't like. Little ones brought great joy to Mark’s life.

He also leaves behind his siblings Joe Plummer (Diane), Mike Plummer, Melba Gust, & Candyce Gilmore (Jim.)

While it is true that Mark's passing has left a void in the lives of his loved ones, we can take solace in the fact that was able to reconnect on some of those important relationships before his passing which during our last conversation he seemed so genuinely happy about. It brings me comfort to know when he passed away on March 29th, 2023 in his family home, he had loved ones by his side. There is no greater gift than that.

We will say our final goodbyes to Mark to remember the laughter and joy he brought into our lives on Friday April 14th, 2023 3pm at Fairmount Memorial Park - Sunset Chapel, 5200 W Wellesley Ave, Spokane WA, with a reception following at Frankie Doodles, 30 E 3rd Ave, Spokane WA.

Please keep the family in your thoughts & prayers. 🕊️
