Wall Drug is a world‑famous roadside attraction and family destination located in Wall, South Dakota, just minutes from Badlands National Park. Founded in 1931, Wall Drug features shopping, dining, homemade donuts, Western art, unique attractions, and its legendary free ice water and 5‑cent coffee, welcoming over two million visitors each year from around the world. Although we are open year-round, there are times throughout the winter season that sections of our store may be closing early.

Look for the trick-or-treat signs throughout the store, and our staff will have candy ready for all the little ghosts, goblins, and superheroes. 👻

This December, we'll celebrate 95 years of Wall Drug and the traditions that have welcomed generations of travelers to South Dakota.

Back in 1931, a gallon of gas cost about 10 cents, milk was around 11 cents a quart, and the average monthly rent was just $18!

A lot has changed over the last 95 years, but a few Wall Drug traditions are still going strong: 5¢ coffee and free ice water!
