Wall Drug is a world‑famous roadside attraction and family destination located in Wall, South Dakota, just minutes from Badlands National Park. Founded in 1931, Wall Drug features shopping, dining, homemade donuts, Western art, unique attractions, and its legendary free ice water and 5‑cent coffee, welcoming over two million visitors each year from around the world. Although we are open year-round, there are times throughout the winter season that sections of our store may be closing early.

How it started vs how it’s going 💚

What began as a small drug store in 1931 has grown into an iconic roadside attraction. This year, we celebrate 95 years of Wall Drug!
We’re proud to continue the legacy and keep the history alive, and we hope Ted and Dorothy would be proud of what it has become today.
