Today would have been Gary’s grandfather’s birthday.
He spent many years serving the community as a Battalion Chief with the South Bend Fire Department, dedicating his life to helping others and answering the call whenever it came.
While he is no longer with us, his legacy of service, leadership, and commitment to his community lives on through the people who knew and loved him.
Today, we raise a glass and fire up a cigar in his memory and in honor of all the firefighters, first responders, and public servants who have devoted their lives to protecting others.
Happy Birthday, Chief. You are remembered. 🚒

Tonight's the night!!!!! Officially welcoming back Trivia Time Trivia to the Firehouse Tap after a short break in the action. Starts at 7pm and is still free to play. Grab your team and come thirsty. Cash prizes and a guaranteed great time! Gary Matthew Jaworski will be behind the bar being as squirrelly as usual. Drop in!!!!!
