There are still two easy ways to get to the Country Store:

The Cubano Panini is BACK today!

Loaded with citrus mojo shredded pork, sliced ham, Swiss cheese, pickles, and mustard, all pressed together on a warm panini roll. It's one of those specials that tends to disappear fast, so don't wait too long.

Starting immediately, our new schedule includes being OPEN 7 days a week, most importantly, on MONDAYS! 😀

We are located in historic downtown Volcano on Main Street. 🌋

So… one of our regulars, Julie, asked G, “Can you do a smash burger on the flat top?”
G’s response? “Why not?”
Well folks… turns out we CAN do smash burgers.
This beauty starts with our 1/4 lb patty smashed down with onions and mustard, then topped with TWO slices of cheese because moderation is overrated.
You won’t see it on the menu… but if you want something a little different, just ask. We’ll always do our best to accommodate.
Except French fries.
And AI generated flyers.(IFYKYK)
Those remain a hard NO. 😂

We just wanted to take a minute to say THANK YOU for all the likes, comments, shares, and support you showed our hand-drawn flyer over the weekend. The banter was fun, entertaining, and honestly way more than we expected. Our engagement and following went through the roof, and we appreciate every single one of you for playing along.
The response was so good that we’re already working on our next masterpiece… so stay tuned. We may even have a fun little contest coming your way soon.
But now it’s time to get back to the business of good food and good moods.
The weather is warming up, but apparently we’re emotionally attached to soup season and refuse to let go just yet.
Today’s special is a deconstructed shepherd’s pie soup — all the cozy flavors you know and love, but in soup form. Seasoned beef, vegetables, rich savory broth, and gnocchi standing in for the traditional mashed potatoes.

Recently we were publicly scolded by a couple of people for using AI to generate some flyers. One even posted an example of something they would rather see than AI. It looked like a child had drawn it. Well, challenge accepted!! This one is for you “Ness” and “Chris”. Now maybe you can come down and patronize our store for the first time. We will patiently wait. We’ve only been around since 1852 after all!
