Its been a long almost 11 months and we wanted to give an update.

It is with an incredibly heavy heart that we announce our permanent closure. We fought hard to stay open, looked at numerous options, but unfortunately, it just wont work in this economy. We were very fortunate to have a great spot with fantastically low rent which made it possible to offer affordable, delicious food. With the increased cost of labor, rent, utilities, and food, we wont be able to reopen and stay open.

We are incredibly sad and grieving the loss. We really wished we could make something work.

We miss everyone of our loyal customers so please if you see us around town, say Hi!!!

(We are throwing around the idea of getting some shirts made for nostalgia, if you would be interested in purchasing one, send me a message)

Update!!!

Well it has been 1 month since the fire and what a wild ride it has been. We are all counting the days until we are back open, we never could have imagined what that would look like the morning of the fire.

In our naivety, we thought, give us 4 days and we will clean up and be back to normal. We were so very wrong, but that's ok. Now we will be experts!!!!

So the big news is WE ARE MOVING!!!!!

We dont have a new location yet, still fully moving out of the old, but if you know of any available locations, or a great commercial real estate agent, we would greatly appreciate the help!

That being said, it will probably be another month or two, not really sure at this point, but we will use this platform to update everyone when we have news.

Lastly, thank you!!!!!! We really cant wait to be back serving the community 💙

We will also be at the deli and can sell physical gift cards tomorrow from 11am to 1pm. We would love to see you!!

Coming soon, we will be selling tshirts to help support us while we are shut down, hopefully we will have them available in the next week.

Thank you to all who have shared our story, prayed for us, offered to help, or sent kind words. We are deeply humbled by the outpouring of support and we cant wait to be back up and running!!!

Well friends, it could have been much worse!!!
We have had some more time to assess the damage, complying with lots of regulations and requirements, and it seems like we will be closed for a bit longer than we hoped. Our goal is 4 to 6 weeks, but that will rely heavily on the City of Vista and the permitting we will need to repair the damage and get the all clear. We promise to keep everyone updated here and on facebook.

That being said, not sure how much insurance will cover and after two difficult years, we are praying for a smooth process and having the financing to reopen.

Casey will be at the deli today 5/27 from 10 to 2pm, stop by if you want to buy any gift cards or just say Hi🙂, we will also be activating digital gift cards in the coming days, so please look out for that announcement, as well as, times to buy physical gift cards

Lastly, our community came out yesterday to support us, in person and online and we are deeply humbled by it all. It's actually hard to not be there working at the deli, engaging with our community. We are determined to be back and maybe with a little facelift😀
