Let’s keep the busy seasons going! Y’all… when I say Sweetwater has been BUSY, I mean BUSY!

Monday took us to the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art, and we had to share a little of how this beautiful event came together.

From the design and presentation to a spread filled with more than enough Sweetwater favorites, we wanted every detail to feel just as special as the event itself.

One thing I love about catering is watching everything come together—the planning, the food, the setup, and then finally stepping back and seeing the finished spread. This one turned out beautifully.

The air’s turning’ crisp, and our kitchen’s warming up. This October we’re setting the table for two Sundays of real-deal Southern brunch: slow-cooked, made from scratch, and served with the kind of hospitality that makes you want to stay a while. Y’all… Sweetwater has been BUSY!

And when I say busy, I mean the kind of busy where the kitchen stays moving, the calendar stays full, and before we know it, we’re setting up for another event. 😂

This week was no different! We had the opportunity to bring another beautiful event to life, and I wanted to share a few photos of how everything came together. From the food to the setup to those final little details, seeing it all finished never gets old.

We’ve got a lot happening around here—and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

We’ve been back in the kitchen getting everything together for Sunday, and I’m excited about this one. We’ve got some of your Sweetwater favorites, a new item, and plenty of that made-from-scratch goodness.

We’re bringing something NEW to brunch!

Come see us at Sweetwater Cuisine September 27, and we’ve been working in the kitchen to add some new flavors to the buffet.

One of the newest additions? Made-from-scratch Chicken Minis! Soft, delicious, and made right here in the Sweetwater kitchen. If you needed another reason to make brunch plans, this might be it.

And that’s not all. We’ll be mixing some new menu items in with the Sweetwater favorites you already love, so you’ll have even more to try this Sunday.

HEY YALL!! Remember that 1600 person event I told you about..Well… WE DID IT!

Last Sunday, the Sweetwater crew successfully executed one of our biggest catering opportunities yet—serving 1,600 guests!

And now that we’ve had a minute to recover, we wanted to take y’all behind the scenes and share a few photos from an incredible day.

From the prep and planning to loading up, setting up, serving, and everything happening behind the scenes, this event took our entire team working together to make it happen. And we couldn’t be more proud of how it all came together.

Opportunities like this remind us just how far Sweetwater has come. We’re incredibly thankful to our clients for trusting us with an event of this size—and to YOU for understanding why we had to miss a Sunday with you.

Your messages, encouragement, and even those prayers for the Sweetwater crew were definitely appreciated.

Y’all, I HATE having to make this post. ❤️

Sweetwater was just given the opportunity to cater an amazing event for 1,600 guests this Sunday. Yes… 1,600! 😳 And as much as I want to believe we can do ALL the things, this one requires our entire team, our entire kitchen, and pretty much every ounce of Sweetwater we’ve got!

We have made the very difficult decision to cancel Sunday Brunch this Sunday, September 20th.

I especially hate cancelling brunch because I LOVE seeing all of you. Y’all been showing up, bringing friends, filling tables, and making Sundays at Sweetwater so much fun!

We’re taking this ONE Sunday off to tackle a really big opportunity, so go ahead jump on the reservation list for SEPTEMBER 27! 🥂🍳

THANK YOU for supporting this little business of ours, cheering us on, and understanding when an unexpected opportunity arises that we must take!

And maybe send up a little prayer for the Sweetwater crew this Sunday…
