Our dear friend Chef Jeremy clocked in for his shift on Thursday, October 1, at New River Taphouse, where he’s been a faithful employee for the last 5 years. At 4:30 pm, he received a phone call that his apartment building had caught on fire. Unfortunately, Jeremy lost all of his belongings, along with his beloved pet cat.

Jeremy is a kind, hard-working person and a close friend to many. He is an asset to the New River team, and we are equally devastated for his loss. Along with our own contributions, we are reaching out to the community that Jeremy has served delicious food and brought joy to for all of these years to now help him in his time of need. Any contribution will go toward replacing his lost belongings and getting him back on his feet.

If you are unable to donate please share and keep Jeremy in your prayers. 🤍
