13 YEARS. ⚓️💗
Today marks 13 years since I served my very first customer at Anchor Allie’s in Virginia Beach.
Three Anchor Allie’s restaurants later… and I still get the opportunity to serve people. That alone is something I’ll never take for granted.
They say, “A smooth sea never made a skilled sailor,” and after 13 years in this business, I understand that saying more than ever. I’ve learned, grown, changed, rebuilt, laughed, cried, celebrated and made more memories than I could ever fit into one post.
But when I look back, what I remember most are the people.
The incredible team members who stood beside me. The customers who became familiar faces and friends. The laughter across the restaurant. The packed holiday weekends we worked back-to-back-to-back. The crazy days, the celebrations, the traditions, the stories and all those little moments we didn’t realize at the time would become some of the best memories of our lives.
Some of those chapters were nothing short of EPIC. 💗
Thirteen years later, I’m still here, still serving, still dreaming and still excited to see where Anchor Allie’s goes next.
To every person who has ever walked through our doors, worked a shift, shared a meal, celebrated with us, supported us, recommended us or simply cheered us on — thank you.
Thank you for allowing me to serve you in our own special Anchor Allie’s way.
