Ocean Eddie’s is THE spot for storm watching!

Just look at how high those waves got! There’s nothing quite like watching Mother Nature put on a show right from the pier.

Stay safe, stay dry, and enjoy the view!

We were so excited to be a part of the James Beard Foundation series and truly enjoyed every part of the experience.
From experiencing what the James Beard Foundation had to offer to visiting other incredible local restaurants and tasting their menus, it was such a special opportunity to celebrate the talent and creativity within our culinary community.
We hope everyone who joined us at Ocean Eddie’s enjoyed our menu and had as much fun experiencing the series as we did. It was an honor to be included and to have the opportunity to showcase a little piece of what we love to do here at the beach.
A very special thank you to Patrick Evans-Hylton and the VBRA for bringing the James Beard Foundation to the beach and giving our community the opportunity to experience and celebrate the incredible culinary talent of Tidewater.
We’re grateful to have been a part of it!

We had the pleasure of attending the Ordinary Awards, celebrating the incredible people and businesses that make Virginia’s hospitality and tourism industry so special.

I’m incredibly honored to have been one of three people selected from across Virginia for Bartender of the Year, and even more grateful to have been named Virginia’s Bartender of the Year.

But honestly, one of my favorite parts of the night was getting to be in a room filled with so many hardworking, passionate people in this industry. Hospitality isn’t always easy, and it was pretty amazing to take a moment to celebrate the people who show up every day and give so much to their teams, their guests, and their communities.

Congratulations to everyone who was nominated and to all of the winners! We only got to catch up with a few of you, but we loved seeing everyone and celebrating together.

Feeling very grateful for this industry, the people in it, and especially the people who have supported me along the way.

Thank you, Ordinary Awards, for an unforgettable night! ❤️
