👋 Welcome to Roane's! We’re so glad you’re here. There have been a lot of exciting changes this year, and we wanted to take a moment to introduce ourselves. We’re Vanessa and Ali — a husband and wife team proud to be the new owners of Sal’s. Military life brought us to Virginia Beach, so while we may not be true locals, we’re honored to be part of this amazing community. Vanessa is a Navy brat who

spent most of her childhood in Spain and still visits her family there often. Her love for great food (especially pizza!) led her on a worldwide search for the perfect recipe — and she found it right here. Ali hails from New Jersey, where he pretty much grew up on pizza. So between Vanessa’s passion and Ali’s pizza roots, we think we’ve created something truly special. We have three beautiful kids — one daughter has left the nest, the other is in college, and our son helps keep things running right here in the shop (you might spot him if you visit!). We’re still working through a few kinks, but we’re committed to making every visit to Sal’s a memorable one. Thank you for your patience, your support, and most importantly — your feedback. We can’t wait to serve you.
