I found out that it's unsafe to keep an oversize jacket on children while strapped in a car seat. Like me, I know some parents struggle with kids cooperating. I am so happy that I found crayons (Crayola Ultra-Clean Washable)and cleaning materials (Mr. Clean Magic Eraser)that allow my children to express their artistic creativity without me having to stress about it. If you don't want to use Mr. Clean, you can use a wet cloth or wipes.
