Our 6th annual Rock the Block is coming up, and we’re looking forward to another evening full of costumes, candy, and community fun!

Here’s a coffee fact that might surprise you…
We call them coffee beans, but they actually start out as the seeds inside a fruit called a coffee cherry.
And here’s the really amazing part…
From the moment that little cherry is picked, it goes through quite a journey. The fruit is processed, the seeds are dried, sorted, roasted, ground, and finally brewed.
By the time you’re holding your cup of coffee, only about 2.6% of the original fruit actually makes it into your cup!
So the next time you take a sip, remember, there’s quite a journey behind that little cup.
And honestly… all that work deserves to be enjoyed.
