Thank you to everyone that came yesterday and celebrated World Down Syndrome Day with us and came to say goodbye!

We pretty much sold out! We will not be opening today since we are so very low on ice cream and have some family stuff going on today.

Happy World Down Syndrome Day to our very own Luke and London.

Come by today from 2-7pm to help us celebrate these two amazing guys, and all our friends rocking that extra chromosome! It’s our last weekend and we would love to see you, serve you one last scoop, and thank you for all your support the past two years! It’s been great! 💙💛🍦

Due to a scheduling conflict, we will not be able to open tomorrow, Friday, March 20, 2026. We will be open on Saturday 3/21/26 to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day and our farewell.

It is with sad, but grateful hearts that we announce that An Extra Scoop will be permanently closing its doors on Sunday March 22, 2026.
We have enjoyed serving our community and making new friends. We have appreciated the love and support of all our customers, friends, and family over the past two years.

We will be hosting a WDSD (World Down Syndrome Day) & Farewell celebration on Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 2-7pm. 💙💛

Please come visit us over the next three weeks. We will be open Thursday through Sunday from 2-7pm. We would love to have a chance to see everyone before our last day. If you have any special memories at our shop (pictures or words), feel free to share them below. We would love it!

For $5, you will get a fresh sugar cookie to decorate, a cup of hot chocolate and get to visit with Santa.

Thursday will be our last day open for the rest of the year also as we are taking the time off while the boys are out of school to spend time as a family, so come see us and get some ice cream to hold you over until we re-open on Thursday Jan. 8th 2026!
