⏰🐾 48 HOURS UNTIL RESCUE TOGETHER! 🐾⏰

What could be better than heading into the weekend with a new best friend? How about knowing your adoption also helps another animal in need? ❤️

This Saturday, we're joining PAWS Chicago for Rescue Together, bringing our community together to create more happy beginnings for Chicago's homeless pets!

🏡 When you adopt, you're not just giving one animal a loving home. You're also helping create space for the next animal who needs our care.

💛 ALL ADOPTION FEES WAIVED for dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens at CACC!

🐶🐱 Additional adoption counselors and volunteers will be here Saturday to help you find your match!

📅 Saturday, October 17
🕛 12–6 p.m.
📍 CACC | 2741 S. Western Ave., Chicago

Rescue Together continues Sunday, but Saturday is the best day to visit CACC with our extra support onsite!

❤️ Two days. Countless possibilities. One very special new beginning.

🐕 Chicago residents: There's a $5 dog license fee that cannot be waived but can be paid at the shelter.

I want to thank each and every one of you for seeing me through this! I couldn’t have done it without your support. I saw the most amazing people do something soooo amazing! I saw the kindness of people , every race and nationality, being heroes in so many ways. By running, walking, supporting, people were out there giving away energy in every shape or liquid or voice to give over 55,000 people the strength to keep going, their own money spent on things to help strangers achieve their goal! Thank you Chicago home owners, business owners, patrons, friends, family all children of God doing for others just as he asks of us. God bless you and thank you from the bottom of my heart to every donor every prayer whispered everybody and anybody who thought of me and these fellow runners who gave it their all for whatever reason they were doing it! My time was 6:57, I was hoping for better but it wasn’t in the cards, this time😳🤭, there may be another one of these in my future😬. I said one and done but I have to say in the last ten miles I was running along side a Father Michael, he was running his 54th🥹, so now that one and done is a little harder to swallow then it was before I started🤷‍♀️. Thank you to those still throwing donations in to help TWV provide life saving water to so many, you have single handedly helped save so many lives! God bless you all and love you tons❣️🙏🏼
Ps. Thank you for the flowers💐🌸🌼🌹

Hi friends! Tomorrow is the day, the Chicago marathon😅! As many of you know I’ve been training for this most of the year. I want to thank you all for supporting me whether it was through donation, prayers, words of encouragement or songs for my playlist. I appreciate each and every one of you who have supported me on this journey🥹! I ask you to continue your prayers for me and all those who are stepping out tomorrow to participate in this amazing event or coming out to support it. The bakery is open tomorrow regular hours, be patient as Pedro might be manning things on his own😬. I’m posting my bib number as many have asked me to. Team World Vision is still accepting donations through tomorrow for anyone that would still like to be part of this journey with me. Much love and thanks to you all for always being here for me. God love and bless you all friends❣️🙏🏼
