Pop's is still hanging around "The Scoop" almost on a daily basis!!!! Even though he sold it, he still enjoys seeing his ol' patrons showing up for the same cool treats! Plus every now and then he'll help them out in the kitchen when needed!

The Scoop's Grand Opening was a huge success! The weather hung in there so they could do the Outdoor Movie with Summer Rec in The Scoop's parking lot! It was awesome and had a great turnout! Hope everyone was able to come out and enjoy! Stan and I was also there to help lend a helping hand! It was great!

Evening trade was awesome at THE SCOOP! Stan and I were there to lend a hand and I can see the Gunter's are going to have a great new business! Thanks to all of the wonderful people here in Villa Grove and surrounding area's!!!

Oh Pop's and I went down this evening to see if we could lend a hand to the Gunters! Wanted to help them tie up any loose ends before their big open at "The Scoop" (formerly Pop's) Wednesday Morning 10 a.m. till 10 p.m. Grab your lunch partner or dinner partner and head down to "The Scoop", great new menu items and another place to enjoy lunch!!!!! I am so happy for them! PSSSSST, you might find Pop's there lending a hand! :-)

Just wanted to mention that in about 24 hours you'll be able to visit "THE SCOOP" (formerly known as Pop's) which will open tomorrow at 10am. Hours will be 10 - 10 and they have such an awesome menu, some great sandwich choices that can't be gotten around here! You won't recognize the place, but you'll recognize some of the faces! :-) So stop in and tell them we sent ya! Let's make their opening day a great one! Pop's will probably be there to give a helping hand, so stop in and tell him hello!
