Hello our Local Foodies! ❤️

For those who haven’t met me yet, I’m Bo, the owner-chef of Vienna Thai & Bar, and I’d love to reintroduce myself and welcome all the new families joining our Vienna community this school year!

📍 Vienna Thai & Bar is right here in Vienna, Virginia, and I’m so proud to be part of this wonderful community.

For me, this restaurant is much more than a business. I love cooking and sharing the flavors I grew up with, and many of the dishes we serve are inspired by homemade Thai cooking — the kind of food I would make for my own family and friends. ❤️

Along with authentic Thai favorites, one of the things that makes us a little different is our craft cocktail program & Monthly W**e Tasting We love creating beautiful cocktails using Thai and seasonal ingredients, and throughout the year we change things up with fun seasonal pop-ups and special menus.

As the owner-chef, I’m very hands-on. You’ll often find me at the restaurant checking on the food, working with my team, creating something new, or simply stopping by a table to say hello. One of my favorite things is getting to know our guests and seeing familiar Vienna faces come back again and again.

To all of our longtime customers — thank you for supporting our small local business. And to everyone who is new to Vienna this year, welcome! I hope you’ll stop in, say hello, and let us cook for you. 🥰

Khao soi is made with wheat-based egg noodles in a coconut milk curry broth, and typically includes chicken. The dish is topped with crispy deep-fried noodles, cilantro leaves, coconut cream, and served with sliced shallots, lime, pickled mustard, and a sweet-hot chili sauce.
