We’re excited to participate again next year and this time with a new burger!!

BURGER MANIA WINNER! Taqueria Becerra, located at 127 West North Street in downtown Versailles, took the honors as the “Best Burger in Woodford County” for 2026, and received the much-desired Golden Burger Trophy, which is displayed in the restaurant. The amazing food (and burger) makes the restaurant a culinary must, but the trophy, designed by the Woodford Chamber of Commerce C.E.O. Emily Downey, is worth a visit too to see it. The winner was declared from a month-long contest put on by the Woodford County Chamber of Commerce that included three rounds of voting online, in which 23 Woodford County restaurants participated. APRIL FOOLS!!!

We have decided to no longer operate under the name TAQUERIA BECERRA.

Sourcing ingredients for authentic Mexican Cuisine has gotten a lot harder in recent years; sometimes due to policy & others due to weather so we’ve decided to partner with a larger company to make it easier to consistently source fresh high quality ingredients.

Our family will still remain in business & we’ll maintain staff at this location, but we will be changing to a franchise of Taco Tico. Taco Tico is known for their excellent service, amazing flavors and authentic Mexican cuisine!!!!

We’re sure people will be just as happy seeing us serve these delicious meals!!!
