Wow what a week!!! The most overwhelming week I have ever had! This time last week I had just won the World Championship for the Steak Cookoff Association! Thank you Brett Gallaway, Ken Phillips, Michelle Dang and all the SCA staff and judges! I had several tell me it will take several days to set in and boy did it! I want to thank everybody for the texts, messages, phone calls, and visits!!!!! I never knew the support I had! I know I missed a lot of post and messages and there are probably still some I haven’t seen but just know I appreciate each and every one of them. It is humbling and honoring to see the things people have said about me! Thank y’all from the bottom of my heart!!!! I wish I could name every person individually but you would still be reading this post tomorrow!

I can not put a post on here about anything I do without mentioning the best friends a guy can have and there families! Boars Night Out Championship BBQ has had my back from the beginning and I can’t tell Eric and Candace and Allen and Jennifer how much they mean to me and my family. Thank you will never be enough!

Again thank each and every one of you for everything! It is one amazing ride!

Columbus BBQ chef Christopher Lytle Lytle recently tied for first place with Georgia BBQ chef Stacey Croft at the recent SCA USA Group World Championship Steak Cookoff in Fort Worth, Texas! The competition was extremely fierce, with only about 1.5 points separating first and tenth place. He credits, among others, the spices from Boars Night Out Championship BBQ for helping him to eke out the win. Please join us in congratulating them both and all of the other winners!

!!!!This will be long one guys!!!!!!!

Well I told yall last week the new Boars Night Out Southern Thunder was here and would cause a thunderstorm and boy did it!!!!!! It rained, it stormed, it flooded and when the skies parted the sun started to shine one last big rumble of thunder clapped and lightning struck when I was the last one to walk the stage!!!! WORLD CHAMPION!!!!!!!! I shared this moment with another awesome cook Stacey Croft and was it a moment. Stacey you are one awesome cook and it was a privilege to share that stage and moment! If you haven’t been able to get that Southern Thunder it will be in stock at Top-Notch Pizza starting Wednesday along with all our other seasonings! This would not be possible without 2 of the best friends in the world Eric Hodson and Allen Smith and Boars Night Out Championship BBQ Thank you isn’t enough to y’all!!!!!

There are a ton of people that I have to thank and I know I will leave several out so just know the whole white lightning team showed me more support than I ever could imagine! Thank each and everyone of y’all from the bottom of my heart! I have to thank my wife Tricia Lytle for letting me chase this passion and crazy dream I have.
