🚨Hey y'all!!!!🚨
We're watching the weather for Friday. That's our usual popup in Cassopolis.... We'll keep y'all updated if the weather changes for us to be able to be there!
Saturday we have a wedding cater!! 💒💍💝
Your evening update for winds on Friday, October 16th, remains rather on track for statewide gusts between 30-50 mph.
Winds will shift to out of the north-northwest as a powerful system makes its way through the state between Friday morning and Saturday morning. The timing listed for the heaviest of wind gusts is the 24 hour period from 5a to 5a EDT. Sustained winds will still be gusting around 20-25 mph. Even when it's "calm", lighter objects may be tumbling into your neighbors yard, so take your time today to secure those items before you have to make an embarrassing trip over to the neighbors house to collect.
Power outages and minor tree damage will be the primary land hazards. Additionally, we will be watching for the three W's.
- Wind
- Waves
- Waterspouts
Those along each of the Great Lakes could see wave heights over 20 feet on Friday, along with fair-weather waterspouts.
