1st thought: I heard this the other day and it really struck me as Godly wisdom. Always build up your children. Speak uplifting and affirming words to and over them. If you really want to repair our society here is where it starts.
Scripture: Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
Ephesians 6:4 Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.
Prayer: Lord, early in the morning, when they crawl out of their beds, let my children accidentally stumble upon me praying. Let them hear me pray before meals. Allow them to see me praying when I’m overwhelmed or thankful.
