Chef Karen started her career at a young age cooking for their family owned catering business. She later went on to work in the kitchens of many fine restaurants including Caravaggio’s San Diego, Il Fornaio Beverly Hills, Ed Debevic’s Chicago and was the head chef at La Casina Dei Tigli in Cortona Italy. For the last several years she has been cooking privately in Northern Ca. where she gained int

imate knowledge of the best local wines and created exquisite meals from some of the finest organic produce, seafood and livestock in the world. Karen has a degree from Mesa College San Diego, Ca. in Food Science and is Serve Safe certified. Karen has embraced a life creating fresh delicious food as well as spending time in the entertainment business.She looks forward to the pleasure of sharing that passion with the future culinarians of VIP! Yesterday was a dream come true for me and my Culinarians, to be able to cook together and to serve up a hungry and appreciative crowd! We presented foods that represented what we've learned and the flavors of the community we're in! I am so proud of all of them!
