We had so much fun with our month-long Oktoberfest schedule that we couldn't be done yet 🍻

So, one last Friday. Ed Wagner's Brass Band is back, 10/9, 6 to 9pm, Alpen Haus & The Golf Lodge.

We also just tapped Spaten Oktoberfest Märzen alongside our other Oktoberfest drafts. When the keg's gone, it's gone.

If OpenTable says we're full, we're probably not‼️

Starting this week, reservations on OpenTable are just for the Alpen Haus Dining Room (third photo). The Golf Lodge Dining Area (first photo, the tables next to the sim bays) is now walk-in only, every night we're open.

Why the change: some of you booked a table expecting the bierhalle and ended up over by the sim bays and TVs. That's on us, and this fixes it. If you book, you're in the Alpen Haus Dining Room. Period.

And here's the part we really want you to know: if you check OpenTable and don't see a time, that does not mean we're full. Come on in, grab a table in The Golf Lodge Dining Area, and order off the same full menu. Kids are more than welcome over there, the only spot that's 21+ is the bar itself. Schnitzel tastes just as good with the game on.

Sim bays are still booked online like always. Parties of 9 or more, give us a call.

Popcorn Fest came and went, and the Haus was full the whole way through 🍿

Thank you to everyone who squeezed in, grabbed a stein, and made yesterday what it was. More than 30 of you stepped up for the stein hoisting competitions, and watching this room lose its mind over a Cubs win with football on every screen is exactly why we built this place!

To our team who kept the bier flowing all day without missing a beat: you were incredible.

Consider this your official warning, Valpo: this weekend will be LOUD 🍿🇩🇪

We are a restaurant and bierhalle celebrating Oktoberfest x Popcorn Fest at the same time. There will be singing. There will be stein hoisting. There will not be a quiet corner in the haus Friday or Saturday.

FRI: Pre-Fest Party with an Oktoberfest DJ set by Arrested Sounds, 7-10pm. Full menu, full bar.

SAT: Popcorn Fest, 11am-8pm, serving a LIMITED POPCORN FEST MENU ONLY. Swipe for the menu, and yes, that's all of it. Stein Hoisting Competitions with Weihenstephaner at 12pm and 7pm. $15 to enter, winner takes home their stein!

SUN: Business as usual, 11am-8pm, full Speisekarte, and your quietest shot at schnitzel all weekend.

All bier and drinks stay inside our doors. Prost 🍻

Und ja, NFL and NCAA football on the big screens all weekend long 🏈

🇩🇪 Oktoberfest preparations are underway at Alpen Haus!

Tatjana’s dad, Michael, is in town from Germany, so naturally we put him to work! He’s been in the kitchen with Chef Tatjana and Chef David testing out new recipes and putting together some special dishes for the month.

We’ve got some good stuff in the works. Oktoberfest specials for our menu coming soon.
