Apparently, some of our Backwaters crew have been doing a little advanced mathematics on the dry erase board. 🤓

We’re not entirely sure what they’re solving, but we’re pretty sure we hired some future engineers, doctors, or rocket scientists!

Kudos to these smart kids! We may not understand the equations, but we sure are proud of the brains behind them! 😂❤

They are also the ones cooking up the goodness in the kitchen!

🐾 Four-legged friends are always welcome at Backwaters!

Bringing your pup along for a little lake time? We've got them covered! Stop by our Pet Water Bowl station, where our tables with umbrellas are located and grab a fresh water bowl to keep your furry companion cool and hydrated while they enjoy the lake with you!

We also have dog waste stations conveniently located throughout the property to help keep Backwaters clean and enjoyable for everyone.

Just a friendly reminder to please keep your pups on a leash and be sure to clean up after them.

Because lake days are even better with your best friend by your side!

This Labor Day, we celebrate our Backwaters Family! 🇺🇸⚓

Today means a little more to us because we get to celebrate the people who have LABORED ALL SUMMER LONG to make Backwaters at the Landing the best it can be.

Summer on Lake Harding is wonderful - but behind every meal served, every customer helped, and every boat that pulls up to our dock is a team of people working incredibly hard.

Our RESTAURANT, CONVENIENCE STORE and MARINA employees have given so much of themselves this summer. They've worked long days, hot days, crazy-busy days and the days when nothing seemed to go quite as planned - and they just kept showing up and giving their best.

We know Backwaters is not just a building, a store, a restaurant, or a marina. It's the people inside those places who make it what it is.

We are so grateful for each person who has been a part of this summer. We see your hard work. We appreciate the sacrifices you make to be here. And we hope you know how much your contribution matters to us and Backwaters.

We simply couldn't do what we do without you!

So today, we aren't just wishing everyone a Happy Labor Day.

We're celebrating people whose labor makes Backwaters possible!
