Day 2 is always picture day. It’s nice to see such a large group. I’m sorry for the ones who missed the photo. We had a couple gingham finishes, lots of visiting, and sewing both by machine and by hand. Gretchen gave our old brains a lesson in how AI can assist us in our quilting journey. Very informative - thank you, Gretchen. Sorry you are not the youngest on the group after Pearl joined us today. I love having young girls joining our group carrying on the quilting tradition. The ants are still bothering our sweets 😂😂. Will have to call the exterminator!!! 🤪. I laid out the 2027 retreat schedule and they were already signing up before I even announced it! Love you girls ❤️❤️.

One more day and the fun will be over / for most. Open sewing Friday and Saturday. Leave your machines and keep on stitching!

Picnic themed retreat day 1 brought us all back together to be Sewcial again. Our wardrobe lets the world know what our passion is 😊. Everyone got right to work creating special projects. Everyone working on their own things. Some of us working on a gingham quilt to commemorate our theme. Photos tomorrow. As usual we eat well with our potluck lunch and it’s not a picnic without ants on the dessert table. 😜😂🤪. We also had to call in our local sewing machine repairman and Rob got her back up and running. Our drawing blocks are coming along with drawing on Thursday. Until tomorrow- with more photos!

And the beauty of The Sewcial Club is there is plenty of room to hold a class and still have room for day sewing.
Day sewing is $10/day or join the Club for unlimited visits for a year for $150. Now is the time to join or renew.

Thanks to some great workers and supervisors 🤪 The Sewcial Club is getting “retreat ready” with our picnic theme. Retreat is Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday next week / sew on your own projects &/or drawing blocks and gingham quilt for 3 days for $60. I’ve had a couple spots open up if you would like to join in the fun. 2 more of my famous retreats later in the year - August and October on the last week of the month. There will be 5 retreats in 2027 and making the schedule soon

I love seeing a full parking lot on a Saturday. We love it when Amanda gathers us at The Sewcial Club to make quilted ornaments. This one celebrating America 250. You ladies actually made 2 but I didn’t get a photo of the bonus ornament. Hopefully someone will post a photo in comments.
