We are SO glad the weather held! Today was extra special because we got to help with TWO different floats this year!

First up was our Breezy ship, complete with candy cannons because, well… Beth was left unsupervised.

Next, Breezy 2.0 crew member Rue (and Beth’s oldest) helped design and build the VCHS Theater float. Getting to see her creativity come to life was pretty awesome!

Lots of work, a whole lot of candy, and SO much fun. We’re pretty proud of our crew and grateful we got to be part of such a great community.

For tonight's extra thankful, we have to showcase Grandma and Papaw. They always go overboard when it comes to the parade. Grandma buys enough candy so we NEVER run out and Papaw makes sure we have the coolest items to throw. Their goal is simple, every kid/ adult leaves the parade with a smile and their face and a bag full of goodies.

We have a couple reasons this year's Fall Fest is extra special that I'd love to share over the next few days.

First up has to be Eric receiving 2026 Citizen of the year. The poor guy puts up with a lot from all us crazies but we don't know what we would do without him. He really does spend every moment serving our community. Make sure you cheer extra loud for him at the parade.

I tried to have his car right in front of our float, but I think he was worried we'd throw candy at him the whole time. To be fair, we would have.

Hey Breezy peeps. With storms rolling into the area we will not be opening up tonight in Kechi. But hopefully this is the start of cooler weather and we have a beautiful Fall Festival next weekend! Stay safe tonight!

After a fun morning at Hornet Hustle, we excited to be open for the last time at our regular spot. Come see us from 4-8.

Today we had the pleasure of serving Valley Center Public Schools, USD 262 staff at the brand new Valley Park Elementary Usd262 building! Most of our staff either works for USD 262 (5 of us) or attend school there. A huge thank you to Hutton construction for sponsoring today as well as building such an amazing new school!
