calling all Clayton Shrimp Shack customers... We picked up our new Clayton's Shrimp Shack trailer today.finally! We will be installing grills, fryer, signs and getting it ready to go in next several weeks. Hoping to open in Lake Park by Thanksgiving! We are so excited! We read all of your favorites from the shack and we are planning to serve Shrimp baskets, Steam pot with huge,juicy shrimp, grilled or fried shrimp poboys, redfish Baja tacos, fried gator baskets and of course our famous Big Louis 1/2 pd burgers! We are still considering if we can somehow squeeze in seafood nachos. Our new food trailer will be bright candy apple red with our cute cartoon crabs, shrimps and more. Hope to see all of our favorite customers again! If you are planning to drop by and eat with us...drop us a comment below!

Working on a Clayton's Shrimp Shack Mobile unit food truck! Will let everyone know as soon as it is finished! We will start out selling shrimp baskets, po boys, steamed shrimp platter, fish basket and shrimp & grits and possibly shrimp tacos.

We are taking a poll on what our customers that enjoyed our Clayton's Shrimp Shack food would like to see being sold in our new food truck once it is ready.

A diver swimming off HaCarmal coast in Haifa, Israel; has discovered a crusader sword dating from 900 years ago.
Diver was about 150m off coast in 5m deep water when he made discovery. The 4ft long sword was covered in shells and other remnants of sea life.

Clayton and I decided to be honest and explain WHY we had to close the shack instead of being politically correct. We never expected such an outpouring of love, encouragement and prayers! Thank you to everyone that had nothing but positive, loving and encouragement for us! This really made us smile. To the TWO people that had nothing but negative, hateful, uninformed and ignorant comments...We are SO glad you commented as well because we SOOOO enjoyed blocking you guys. LOL. Thank you for helping us w**d out the ignorant people that apparently sneaked into our friends list...

We are sad to have to close down the shrimp shack. We have been struggling since Biden took office. We have been paying the bills out of our personal money hoping food costs along with other things would get better. They have not. We really appreciate all of our customers and we are really going to miss seeing all of you! It was a pleasure serving Valdosta and all the surrounding communities. We lost Pop-Clayton's father to heart disease in November and my husband Clayton has just not been himself since then.Clayton is taking a break and just enjoying being with me and our children. We plan to start back doing festivals sometime this year. Clayton has been doing festivals for over 20 years and has been very successful. We had chosen to slow down from festival work and open the shrimp shack with intentions of opening several locations but ..well....owning a restaurant is not as profitable as the festival world. :) Well not with Biden in office anyway .lol...We did Very, very well with Trump as president and pray he gets back in office SOON! May the Lord bless and watch over all of you and everyone you love!
