🚨 BIG NEWS ABOUT THE 8TH ANNUAL GBC OKTOBERFEST: Downtown Valdosta Businesses Are Joining The Festivities In 2026! 🚨

That's right, the 2026 GBC OKTOBERFEST! 🇩🇪 🌿 🍻 on Oct. 22-25 - already the biggest and baddest Oktoberfest in ALL of South Georgia OR North Florida - just got BIGGER!

Because starting this year, 22 Downtown Valdosta Main Street businesses are joining the party and helping spread that Oktoberfest love all throughout downtown! 🥳

Yes, TWENTY TWO! 🤝🤝🤝🤝🤝🤝🤝

So what did we do to celebrate this HUGE milestone for our festival?

We made a handy-dandy map! 🗺

And it shows you ...

1. All the local Downtown Valdosta businesses taking part
2. Where they're located downtown in relation to GBC (Spoiler alert: Every spot is walkable - but we've got a surprise for you there ... more on that in a second!)
3. What special Oktoberfest deal they're offering or event they're hosting
4. What days of our 4-day event they're participating

Pretty sweet, right?!?

We wanted to open this party up this year and invite our Downtown friends. And it's become truly a at its best initiative!

But wait ... there's MORE!

The Downtown businesses, Downtown Valdosta Mainstreet and Visit Valdosta have pulled together and arranged TRANSPORTATION for you to be bussed to different stops!

And the "GBC Oktoberfest Shuttle" - not the official name, but that's what we're calling it! 🤣 - will run from 4-11 pm on Friday, October 23rd, and 1-11 pm on Saturday, October 24th, during Day 2 and Day 3, respectively, of our Oktoberfest. That means you can park your vehicles just about anywhere in Downtown during the Oktoberfest - including tons of parking in and around GBC - and hop on the and start exploring all the amazing hospitality spots that Downtown Valdosta has to offer!

Also pretty sweet, right? 💪💪💪

All that's left to do now is mark those calendars and study this map - because there WILL be a test! 😎 - and plot your Oktoberfest bar crawl next week.
