Special thanks to Hahira Middle School for the opportunity to help PTO celebrate their PBIS party on Friday. Those kids enjoyed the very best Superman, Cookie Monster and Oreo ice cream around.

Also at lunch on Friday we served Birthday Cake with sprinkles on the Lowndes County Historic Courthouse lawn to concert attendees. The Lunch on the Lawn spring concert series is part of the 200th birthday of Lowndes County. Thanks, Lowndes County, for including us in the festivities!

Tonight we celebrated Maggie and Lawton’s wedding. Maggie chose Fudge Brownie Turtle and Lawton chose Strawberry Cheesecake as his favorite flavor. We also had Vanilla Bean with hot fudge, and other toppings for those that wanted to create their own tasty treat. We were honored to be a part of such a beautiful wedding!

ATTENTION GENTLEMEN: remember all the effort you put into preparing for the big game last Sunday? Tomorrow’s her Super Bowl. Show her some love by planning ahead. You’ll thank us later.

This morning we made some strawberry ice cream (with fresh strawberries, of course) and folded in some chopped up Ghirardelli pieces. It tastes great! We plan to offer it in a special edition Valentine’s Day Sundae tomorrow. It’s in the freezer hardening overnight and will be ready for the big day.

Edit from Jody: I am aware that men are visually motivated so as soon as the ice cream hardens, I’ll post a video for you to share (for those who need a little push in the right direction).

It may be 24 degrees outside but we’d like to remind you that warmer weather with beautiful Azaleas are just around the bend. We are making the new and improved Cinnamon Toast Crunch ice cream this morning! It’s never too cold for good ice cream. We have just under a gallon of banana pudding left, chocolate chip fudge (if you like SUPER rich chocolate), Nutty Buddy and soon Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Come see us this weekend. Open 1-8 daily and 1-9 Friday and Saturday.

The cooler weather is nice but it only takes one warm day to get us ready to make some more homemade ice cream. Testing two different flavors: Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Nutty Buddy. If they are good, they will be in the freezer tomorrow. If not, testing will continue. Life’s too short to eat subpar ice cream. Have a blessed day!
