Today, we’re celebrating three incredible graduates who have each left their mark here at Highlands in their own special way.

Belle Gwyn, our wonderful Host, will be pursuing an education in sports broadcasting. Belle brings such warmth, brightness, and kindness to our front door, and so many guests have been greeted by her smile before anything else. She has a way of making people feel welcome the moment they walk in.

Alyssa Shoemaker, one of our talented servers, will be pursuing an education in Criminal Justice. Alyssa is driven, competitive, and consistently one of our top performers, but more importantly, she brings genuine care and friendliness to every guest she serves.

Gage Shoemaker, our true jack of all trades, will be pursuing a career in HVAC. Gage is dependable, hardworking, and always eager to learn something new. No matter the task, he steps up with a great attitude and a willingness to help wherever he’s needed.

Watching these three grow, work hard, and prepare for their next chapter has been a privilege for all of us. We are deeply grateful to have been a small part of their journey, and we cannot wait to see all the amazing things ahead for them.

Congratulations, Belle, Gage, and Alyssa. Highlands is proud of you. ❤️

A full pound of our grass-fed, grass-finished Black Angus raised from our farm right up the road, stacked on an oversized cheesy garlic sourdough bun with your choice of toppings and a side.

Finish the whole plate without help and your table gets our secret recipe banana pudding on the house.

Fencepost Challenge Champions may also wink to signal our servers to mysteriously “forget” to bring banana pudding spoons for their friends and family.

What’s going on this Thursday at Highlands?

Fresh baked sourdough is restocked! If you preordered, we have it set aside for you. If you forgot to preorder this week, we have plenty for sell at the counter.

Also for the lead-in to Memorial Day weekend, we have stocked our coolers and cases. Come and get Wagyu or Black Angus from our case.

Drew has started smoking some great looking baby back ribs. They’ll be ready to roll @ 4pm! Full racks and half racks, dine in or carry out.

Check out our grab & go cooler for fresh squeezed lemonade in classic and blackberry flavors, as well as ham & potato soup and buffalo chicken dip. The chicken dip is an easily reheated crowd pleaser perfect for a final touch to your cookout this week.
