🎉Who's ready for some cookies?!?! The wait is over! It’s been a beautiful summer, but we’re ready to be back! 🎉

We’re kicking off our Fall season on Saturday September 12th from 7 a.m-noon at our normal spot in between the tracks. 13105 E. Colossal Cave Road. We are excited to share some new amazing flavors along with your favorite classics.

Now for this season’s difference dollar recipients! Remember, $1 from each cookie sold will help these amazing local non profits who are committed to making a difference in the lives of our local animals.

First up- RK Bear Rescue! This beautiful family started their journey by volunteering at Pima Animal Control. They quickly realized that even though pups were getting adopted, more just kept coming in. They decided to try to give our local shelters some relief by creating their own rescue! They built a small facility right here in Vail where they rescue, rehabilitate and rehome dogs in need! They raise money by recycling! They partner with local businesses to collect aluminum cans. They also accept large pieces of junk and scrap metal and turn it into cash at the scrap yard. (how cool is that!?) This family was not afraid to take on a new challenge and I think they are an awesome example of how you don’t have to be big to make a meaningful difference. 💪

Rounding out our donation recipients- You know them, you love them, it’s all your favorite animals at the Reid Park Zoo! We’re feeding money directly into their Animal Enrichment Fund, which buys fun new toys, sensory items and exhibit furniture to provide the animals with novel stimuli designed to invoke their natural behaviors. 🦁

We’re thrilled to get behind these organizations and send them some love! 💙

That’s a wrap!

It was a beautiful day to close a beautiful spring season. Thank you to everyone who came out today, we are so appreciative of you. If you were able to snag a Mt. “Lemon”, consider yourself lucky because those babies didn’t last long. Dark chocolate espresso, blueberry crumble and oatmeal butterscotch were right behind it.

We’ll report back soon with final difference dollar numbers! The jars looked plentiful!

Today I had the great pleasure of speaking about the Bake A Difference journey with Ron and Janay Arenas on their Southwest Flavor podcast! (How cool is that?!) They are both so easy to talk to, it was so much fun!

Janay suggested an orange creamsicle cookie. Turns out the flavor instincts are strong in that one! I'll leave that as a foreshadow for what the future holds :)

It’s staff appreciation week here in our Vail schools! 🍎

We are so excited to be able to play a part in bringing the Acacia staff some happiness! Every single teacher, front office worker, health aid, kitchen staff, night crew and, of course, the amazing community programs team, received a chocolate chunk cookie today! 🍪

Thanks for all the hard work, love and support that you give to the kids! YOU make all the difference! 💙

Let the countdown begin! We are only one week away from our final market of the season. ⏰

Saturday May 9th from 8-1 in between the tracks we will have all your cookies waiting. (That's the day before mother's day! Imagine how happy mom would be if you handed her a Mt."Lemon" cookie on her special day 🥰)

After the last cookie is sold, we'll count up all those difference dollars! We'll deliver the final checks to the Southern Arizona Animal Food Bank and the Reid Park Zoo and let them know how much everyone has been thinking about them and rooting for them! 🙌

Can't wait to see everyone for our last market before summer break! ☀️

One of my favorite parts is watching everyone drop their difference dollars in the jars. We’re only one month away from counting them all up!

It’s hard to believe, but our last market of the season will be Saturday May 9th! Mark your calendars now because we’re planning on going out (for the summer) with a bang!
