Valerie: A Tribute to Amy Winehouse is coming to Journey Downtown this Friday, and tickets are selling fast! Fronted by powerhouse vocalist Elsa Cordeno and backed by a incredible Bay Area band, this show brings all of Amy’s iconic hits to life like β€œBack to Black” to β€œRehab” and β€œValerie”.

Whether you want to lounge at a table with drinks or hit the dance floor, it’s going to be an incredible night in the theater!

BIO:

Brett Jennings is a comedian based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Known for her awkward stage presence, Brett disarms audiences with her vulnerability, creating a space where everyone feels right at home.

She has performed at many clubs, including the San Jose Improv, Alameda Comedy Club, Punchline Irving, Dallas Comedy Club, and the Bricktown Comedy Clubs in Tulsa and Oklahoma City. Her sharp, offbeat humor has also landed her spots at venues like the SF Punch Line and Cobb’s Comedy Club. Brett was a featured performer at the Blue Whale Comedy Festival and has opened for Tim Meadows and Danny Jolles, continuing to carve out a unique, compelling voice in stand-up.Β

Adrianna McCain is an East Bay-based comedian. Since getting her start in 2019, she has performed all over the Bay Area. She co-produces β€œCritical Hit,” a long-running stand up showcase at It’s Your Move Games in Oakland. She loves you very much.
