Tomorrow is the day!!!! Our grand opening with the Loving Pen!
The stand will be stocked at 7 am and then we will be open with the Loving Pen available from 3-6 pm! We will have specialty lemonades and teas available for purchase, as well as water bottles, to cool off while visiting and loving on all of the animals!
There will also be a fire pit going to roast some s'mores (s'mores packs available for purchase as well,) while you hang out a while.
The loving pen will have a baby goat, nigerian dwarf goats, (dwarf goats are minature goats,) ducks, chickens, baby chicks, and small bunnies in there for your visit tomorrow. Next week (possibly tomorrow) I hope to add a baby ewe (young female sheep!) We will offer small feed cups included with paid entry.
$6.00 admission for children/ young adults/ adults with no children (small feed cup included with admission,) $1.00 for adults with children, (feed will not be included with adult admission, but will be available for purchase.) The feed cups will be different for each animal. Paid admission will include 1 feed cup of your choice of animal and feed cups for additional animals will be available for purchase.
My horse will be in the vicinity to feed and pet as well, but inside our other fenced area. Feed cups for her sold separately.
Depending on how many visitors we get, there may be a small wait to get into The Loving Pen.
In the stand we will have:
- Blackberry fruit butter
- Strawberry fruit butter
- Apple fruit butter
- Blueberry fruit butter
(Fruit butters are similar to jellys/ jams and fruit spreads/ same consistency no pectin, just fruit, sugar, honey, lemon juice.)
- 3 plain loaves
- 3 Jalapeño cheddar loaves
- 3 white chocolate chip loaves
- 3 milk chocolate chip loaves
- 3 cinnamon brown sugar loaves
Farm fresh eggs
Some floral arrangements
And some green tomatoes!
