Is it just me or is there a heavenly glow around this burger?! Could it be from the fresh grass and Adirondack air where the Highland cattle are grazed just up the road at Moon Valley Farm? Or perhaps the aura of anticipation of being topped with melted sharp cheddar and a smear of bourbon bacon jam? Or maybe the burger is just really happy that it's getting ready to feed a hungry community member!

We fed a lot of community members last night! It was a grand June evening with a mix of locals and tourists. The new Lodge burger was a hit as well as the mini turtle cheesecakes. Check out our stories for a photo of them.

It's bike season! If you want to hit the trails more intentionally this summer, may we suggest a BIKES & BURGERS weekly routine! Work up an appetite by biking at the East Branch Community Trails, then wheel across the street (kitty-cornered a bit) for dinner at the Monday Tuesday Grill.

Our burger of the week is the Black & Bleu—soft bleu cheese crumbles melted into local beef patties from our neighbor, Moon Valley Farms, and topped with crispy French-fried onions and garlic aioli. We're also featuring flame-grilled Brats topped with caramelized onion and served with savory Cornbread Pudding. Wayne's making his Garlic Parmesan Steak Fries which can be added to any meal. Save room for a Carrot Cake Cupcake topped with Cream Cheese Icing!

Grill customers enjoy Nathaniel Yelle's live music. This week, he'll be performing a LIVE ART session as our featured artist of the week. Nathaniel inhabits a sanctuary in Upper Jay and loves permaculture, community, growth, expression, and transmute'n pain into light.

School families—make the last busy weeks of school a little easier. A family of four can enjoy flame-grilled cheeseburgers with chips and a drink for under $50! Also, our gift cards make great gifts for your favorite teacher!

Could today get any more AMAZING????!! Why yes, it could! The only thing better than a gorgeous day is ending it with delicious food served with a smile and eaten on a colorful deck! 🥰Check out our new umbrellas!!

Slow-roasted Pulled Pork Mac & Cheese hits the spot on this beautiful evening. Add a side of Broccoli Salad or Calico Beans. Our cute little Peanut Butter Pies are just the perfect amount of salty and sweet to end the meal.

And of course, we must mention our LumberJack Burger - a hearty burger topped with Pepperjack cheese, bacon, French-fried onions, and maple BBQ mayo. It's the kind of burger you think about all day!

At one time, almost every family knew someone lost in combat. Amy's dad still remembers the day two men in uniform showed up at the family farm and broke his mother's heart with the news that his older brother, Russell, had died while covering a wounded friend with his body.

Now, we're a few generations removed from those raw days of the World Wars, and Memorial Day has become just a nice day off for many. If you carry a family story in your heart, please keep telling it so that younger generations can know that our freedom is not free. And we'd love to hear it if you come to the Monday Tuesday Grill!

If you don't have cookout plans, join ours! We're slow-roasting pork roasts for Pulled Pork Mac and Cheese. Vegetarians can order mac and cheese with roasted veggies. Our Burger of the Week is the Lumberjack Burger with pepperjack cheese, bacon, French fried onions, and maple BBQ mayo. Calico Baked Beans are always a cookout favorite as are our rich, creamy Peanut Butter Pies.

This week's featured artist is Terri Brown who has written a beautiful children's book entitled, “Sophie's Search for the Moon.” Terri is also selling some 1999 Bradford Edition Birdhouse Ornaments

What a great start to the 2026 summer season! The dining room filled with the familiar faces right at FM and our hearts is filled with joy! (They also filled with a wee bit 'o panic as our online ordering system glitched and allowed a flood of orders to all come in at the same time... but our trusty staff rose to the occasion and everyone was happy!

Now we are excited to see all of our Tuesday peeps! Enjoy our beautiful deck seating or dine in the cozy air-conditioned dining room.

Pictured is our signature Peach Whiskey BBQ chicken. Perfect with a side of broccoli salad and a slice of lemon pound cake. Of course we also have lasagna and burgers and vegan chili.

Grills cleaned. Tables and chairs placed on the deck. Kitchen renovated (yay!). Community Art Market cubbies filled. Food purchased. Staff excited! We're as ready as we can be for the Monday Tuesday Grill Summer Season. All we need is YOU!

Our doors open at 5 pm on Monday night, May 18, and we are wondering: Who will be the first person through the door? Who will order the first burger of the year? Who will place the first online order? Who will be the first party of six or more? Who will be the first first-timer? Who will be the first child? We have a fun surprise awaiting for each of these categories.

Now let's talk FOOD! Our menu is full of favorites for opening week, starting with our kinda-famous Gouda Caramelized Onion Burgers. We're also baking pans of lasagna and “heaven” garlic bread. Of course, Sweet Potato Black Bean Chili is back as well as Peach Whiskey BBQ Chicken sandwiches. Save room for buttery lemon pound cake with lemon glaze.

You'll want to bring a little extra $$ for the locally hand-crafted items in our Art Market. We have some talented neighbors!

The Monday Tuesday Grill opens in one week! We're excited to hear the sizzle of the burgers, see familiar smiling faces, AND open the ADK Community Art Market, which will feature locally made products in the "cubbies" behind the bar.

Many of the 23 available cubbies are claimed, but there is still room for you! If you're an artist, maker, writer, or hobbyist, display your handiwork in front of MTG customers while they wait in line to place their food order. What a delightful way to keep them entertained!

Amy will be available in the Monday Tuesday Grill dining room on Saturday, May 16, and Sunday, May 17, from 1 - 5 pm to meet with vendors, assign cubbies, and set up products. Stop by during those timeslots or email in advance at [email protected] for more details.
NOTE: Displays must be set up by 5 pm on Sunday, May 17.

If you've eaten at the Monday Tuesday grill, there's a good chance you've been served by Elizabeth or have enjoyed the stunning flowers she nurtures on our deck each summer. She's part of our Grill family and Ned, her Afghan hound, is her right hand man who brings so much happiness to her and our community.

Ned is only five years old and healthy, but he received some concerning test results last week. He's scheduled for deeper diagnostics which are costly and may result in even costlier treatment which is difficult for Elizabeth to fully cover as a single "dog mom." We're thoroughly enjoying our time off - which, of course, includes conducting "research" by eating delicious foods in amazing restaurants. But we haven't forgotten you!
