Hidden Gem Alert in Sunnyside, WA!

I stopped by Jade's British Girl Bakery this morning, and wow—I’m still thinking about the Pina Colada Cake!

This incredible home bakery runs on the honor system (yes, really). You walk up, grab what you want, and pay via cash or Venmo. No cashier—just community trust and truly amazing baked goods.

Jade built a loyal following during her years in Prosser, and now she’s sharing her magic with Sunnyside at 631 Dayton Drive, Sunnyside, WA 98944. It is open Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to dusk.
People come from all over the state to try pina colada cake, cinnamon rolls, garlic bread, carrot cake, chocolate sauce, and other British favorites—and I totally get why.

It’s more than just a bakery—it’s a reminder of the power of trust, community, and passion. Check her out on social media for updates and hours. Trust me, it’s worth the visit!

Thank you to Jesus Barajas, owner of Cenaduría Yoli, for the hospitality and a great meal.

Jesus has been serving authentic Mexican food at this location in Sunnyside for nearly five years. In a city known for great Mexican food, Cenaduría Yoli continues to be a solid local favorite.

I had one of the best carne asada plates I’ve ever had — seriously.
They also cater parties, weddings, and quinceañeras, making this a good stop whether you live in Sunnyside or you’re visiting.
