This summer, River City Pizza is teaming up with HUB Sports Center for Play Unplugged Spokane Valley, a free summer program helping kids get off screens and into real life adventures.

Kids complete fun challenges, collect Brag Tags, and build healthy habits all summer long.

And we are one of the official tag locations.

Starting today, kids can visit us at our Otis Orchards, 16th Ave, and Flora and Sprague locations to earn our special "π—’π˜‚π˜π—±π—Όπ—Όπ—Ώπ˜€ π—˜π˜…π—½π—Ήπ—Όπ—Ώπ—²π—Ώ" tag.

All they have to do is complete 10 jumping jacks right there in the store.

That is it. Ten jumping jacks. One tag. A whole lot of fun.

Picking your wedding menu is serious business. They took it seriously. And honestly, they were really good at it.

Their wedding is coming up this June and getting to be part of taking care of the people they love most on one of the biggest days of their lives is something we do not take lightly.

This is something we do regularly and something we plan to keep doing. Because giving back does not always look like food on the table. Sometimes it looks like helping a local team stay on the field.

Helping kids keep playing. Helping a community stay active and connected.

We donate to families.
We donate to organizations.
We donate to the people working quietly to make this place better.
And we donate to teams like these because every form of support counts and we never want to limit how we show up for the people around us.

Meet Ashlynn and Zoey. They work together now. Soon they will be sisters. πŸ‘­

Ashlynn is the sister of Jayden, one of our store managers. Zoey is the sister of Jayden's fiancΓ©e. Which means these two came to River City Pizza from completely different directions and ended up not just as coworkers but as family.

We did not plan that. We just hired great people and let the rest happen.

This is one of our favorite things about what we get to do here.
People come in for a job and leave with something more.
A team that feels like family. Sometimes literally.

That is how our fundraisers work. When a school, sports team, or community organization partners with us for a fundraiser night, a portion of every sale during specified hours goes directly back to them.

No catches. No complicated process. Just a community showing up for each other over pizza.

We have done this with teams and schools across Spokane Valley and Coeur d'Alene and every single time it feels exactly like the kind of business we want to be.
