Happy Valentine's Day from RattleTale Coffee and Such!

We have special news for you this week with one new employee and two new offerings especially for this week.

Cassie Bond is new to our coffee shop family and has moved to Union with her family from Sandy, Oregon. Cassie has a barista background and we our glad to have her join our team.

Plus we have our "Be My Mocha" - a white chocolate and raspberry latte and our "Strawberry Kiss" mini-scones for a romantic morning snack.

Thanks to everyone who attended our Second Annual RattleTale Christmas Concert. We raised $600.00 for Union Market's Meal in a Bag program to feed those in need in Union, Oregon.

Linda just decorated for fall at RattleTale and we are ready for the change of season!

Our October specials will include our hand-rubbed chicken sandwiches and smoked pork loin sandwiches for $6.50 - a dollar off for the rest of the month!

This is a photo I took of our favorite breakfast spot in Mazatlan, Mexico at Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay.

We are using this photo to introduce an increase in size of our burritos which are our best selling breakfast item.

Our burrito filling is handmade with Jimmy Dean Sausage, potatoes, fresh onion, real butter, five specially selected spices, cheddar cheese, and Eileen's farm-fresh eggs. We are definitely keeping her hens busier lately!

Come and try a burrito this week through Labor Day. We will be closing for a few days after next Monday so WE can take a little break and go back to our favorite breakfast spot in Mexico.

I like to take pictures with my phone and here is one of my favorite Union, Oregon photos from this past week. I plan to start sharing more Union photos through our RattleTale Coffee and Such page as we head into fall.

This photo was taken through our dining room window looking at sunset over Mark and Judy Wing's house 1/2 mile away. I like the clarity, the colors and the hint of reflection through the glass window.

For those of you into phone cameras I am using a VIVO X200 Ultra with a telephoto extender. I've found that phones made in China are maybe 3-4 years ahead of Apple and Samsung with their cameras, lenses, and software.

Our barista Joy Platz is on her way to the College of Southern Idaho to study Business Management and Entrepreneurship. We are going to miss her at RattleTale. Our thoughts and prayers go with her and we wish her all the best in her studies!
