Instagram & TikTok Originating on 24th street and Summit avenue in Union City, New Jersey, Juana and her sister Gloria founded Juana & Gloria in 1997. Pretty soon, an array of customers formed lines that spilled onto the block and

the ladies decided to move their restaurant to a larger location. In 2001, Juana & Gloria moved to the corner of 18th street and Bergenline. After a wonderful 10 years of partnership, Juana decided she wanted to take on the challenge of opening up her very own restaurant. Juana's Restaurant #1 was opened, and Juana returned to Summit Avenue with the original recipes you all know and love.
