God has your life planned out. He knows what your future has in store for you, and He knew it before you were born. That means nothing we say or do can mess up His perfect will for our lives. We can plan and come up with ideas, but His will will prevail. This doesn't mean, however, that we shouldn't make plans and try different things--we have a say in our plan too!! God can work through any decision we make. If you love Him, He will work EVERYTHING out for your good, no matter how hard the situation may seem. I'm sure you can look back on a moment that you had something planned out and it went the complete opposite way. But in hindsight it was better that way, right? We have different points of view than God; He sees all. That means He knows how to make better decisions than us and what situations will bless us instead of harm us. He knows how to lovingly say no to His children when He sees that certain thing we want not working out for us in the future. Praise God that He establishes my steps and not me! I can see the step in front of me, but He can see the whole road up ahead!
