It’s not warm and sunny but ice cream tastes good in any weather AND this weekend is the last chance for our delicious ice cream as we will be closing for the season after tomorrow. Come out today and tomorrow 2pm - 9pm to get your last treat of the season. We appreciate all the support over the this past season. It is because of our amazing customers that we are able to continue to offer what we think is the best ice cream around!

Behind The Ice Cream

David and Katie were both 3rd generation dairy farmers who grew up on their family dairy farms in Vermont and Pennsylvania, respectively. They became 1st generation farmers in 2009. Cow Comfort Inn Dairy is home to 800 cows, (mostly Jerseys), 400 of which are milked twice a day. It will be rare to see both of them serving ice cream as the cows always need some form of attention.

The milk produced at CCI is shipped to Land O’Lakes and also goes into the Dairy Maid plant in Frederick, Maryland. Some of the milk is made into a mix that we then turn into delicious ice cream! We hope you come see us and taste the creamy treat made from our sweet Jersey cows.
