Just about 2 miles south on RT 32, up the road from the Mohegan Sun is Herb's Country Deli Restaurant & Country Store. The entire menu at Herb's Country Deli Restaurant is available for Delivery or Take Out in addition to there being ample seating in the Dining Room. Breakfast is served all day and every day beginning at 6 am with amazing variety and flavors being served from the kitchen. Our Chefs are delighted to deviate from the extensive menu for special requests from our guests. 50 feet away from the Restaurant is the New England Gift Shop where not only fresh produce and flowers, handmade wood crafts and wind chimes can be purchased, but fresh Milk, Eggs cheeses and the largest variety in the area of Hartford's finest Granny's Pies. The Restaurant is open until 2 pm.

Herb’s Country Deli is looking for someone to join our kitchen team!

We’re looking for someone who is:
• Willing to learn
• Dependable and ready to take initiative
• Available during the week
• Comfortable working in a busy, team-oriented kitchen
• Willing to help wherever needed

Hours are approximately
7 AM–2 PM.

This position will include food prep, washing dishes, cleaning, and general kitchen duties, so we’re looking for someone who isn’t afraid to jump in and get their hands dirty.

Experience is great, but a good attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn go a long way.
