We are FAROLA. We don’t know much about “creating content.” But we do create good honest food, we create memories: When we take your order, when we prepare your food, when you take that first bite, when you walk home with a Farola box and when you share Farola with your loved ones. That’s what we’re here for.

Every single morning, before we open our doors, we start crafting every empanada that will be sold that day. The menu of the day depends on the fresh ingredients we have and everything has to be sold the same day. No exceptions.

We are a small, family owned shop, run alongside a team that helps us accomplish our daily mission: feed Ukiah and travelers our very best. Every empanada is wrapped in artisanal dough imported from Buenos Aires, because authenticity is non negotiable for us.

Hi friends! Today we want to say THANK YOU to every single one of you for the overwhelming love and support we have received these past few weeks. All the beautiful comments, the reviews, and the many empanadas we have shared together. We are still processing all of this, with huge smiles on our faces.

Tomorrow, Saturday 08/01, Farola will be closed. We need to catch up with production, reorganize, and come back better than ever.

Happy birthday, Farola! And officially, welcome BACK!

Three years ago we opened a little window on Clara St and we started dreaming. Three years later, we are opening the doors of our new space, and the dream continues, stronger than ever.

Come visit our new home, get some empanadas and wish us a happy anniversary. Let’s celebrate together this delicious milestone.

No fue magia.

As many of you know, we said goodbye to our beloved hole in the wall a few months ago. Since then, it has been the most amazing journey: Long days, even longer nights, distant drives, countless laughs and some tears were spilled too. We did it all ourselves, with the immense support of family and friends who have been there for us, one way or another.

What seemed impossible for moments, became true: The Farola we always dreamed became real. We could not be more proud and excited to share the result of our journey with all of you. Today is about the process, the effort and the love we have put in what for us, is the restaurant of our dreams.

With much joy and excitement we say: Farola is back and better than ever.

Thank you to all the family and friends who have been helping us and supporting us along the way, and thank you to all friends and customers for not forgetting us, and to everyone who has shown up during our soft opening days to spread the love, gracias. It wasn’t magic, it was love 🫶🏼

Ukiah, this is a see you soon 🫶🏼

Two and a half years ago, we stood in front of a blank wall on Clara Street with paint on our hands, a lot of hope, and a dream we were ready to give everything to.

That little kitchen became our starting point. Long days, late nights, dough resting, music playing, and conversations through a small window that slowly became familiar.

Strangers stopped by.
They came back.
They brought friends.
And along the way, many of them became family.

This space holds memories we will always carry. The mural painted with love, the hands of family and friends who helped us build Farola, and the moments that shaped who we are today.

Farola has outgrown this space, and it is time to build a home that matches the food, the craft, and the community around it.

Our last day at the Clara Street window will be December 13. Until then, we would love to see you. Come say hi. Come share an empanada. Come be part of this moment with us before we turn the page.

This is not goodbye.
It is a see you soon.

Beautiful things are coming, and we cannot wait to welcome you into what is next ✨
