This Wednesday, we will welcome a guest speaker, Mandy Jentes with GAPPS - Grace And Peace Parent Services.

Mandy’s passion is bringing hope to people who are often overlooked and under resourced. For 23 years she worked in the corporate world developing her expertise in strategy, organization, and process improvement. She and her husband, Dean, dedicated over 8 years to fostering teens and continue to support youth who have aged out of care. In 2021, her volunteer time shifted toward biological parents who are navigating Child Protective Services. Through those efforts, Mandy also coordinated volunteer teams and trainings across East Texas focusing on family reunification and preservation.

GAPPS mission is building resilient parents and closing preventable gaps to reduce family separation by the foster care system.

Meet Heath!

Heath has been doing HVAC work for 25+ years. He started out working in the warehouse, then went to installs, became a lead/foreman on installs and then worked his way up to a tech and then to becoming owner. He and his wife Cedia have 4 kids, 4 grandkids and 3 dogs. They love to go side by side riding when we have the time, watching the grandkids and spending time at the baseball fields and football field watching them play ball.

Meet Jeff Petersen!

Transworld Business Advisors of East Texas specializes in the confidential marketing and valuation of main street businesses. They are also active with larger concerns that are better suited for a M&A environment.

Jeff Petersen was the President and Founder of Coal Creek Consulting, a firm that specializes in project management and infrastructure development for wireless telecommunication providers. During his years with Coal Creek, he grew the company to over twenty-five employees, and the company remains the gold standard in Arizona for wireless services. Jeff sold the company and attempted to retire in 2018.

Jeff now lives in East Texas. He has a love of the outdoors that includes backpacking, hunting, hiking and winter sports. Jeff exhibits extreme dedication and perseverance through personal challenges such as running 14 half-marathons in one year, hiking rim-to-rim-to-rim across the Grand Canyon (47 miles) in one day, skiing across Finland (270 miles) in 7 days and riding a mountain bike from Durango, Colorado to Moab, Utah. Jeff is also a very mediocre guitar player and a terrible singer.

Jeff's involvement with Transworld Business Advisors began when he contracted them to assist in the sale of Coal Creek Consulting. The transaction went so smoothly that he entered into an agreement to work with Transworld in the East Texas market. Jeff is committed to "Good Deals for Good People".
